Melanie and her adorable felines, Bianca and Jemima, relocated from Gold Coast to Manchester with Petraveller. Melanie talks about her cats’ personalities and shares the pet relocation experience.
Bianca was a pregnant stray cat when Melanie met her. Melanie recalls, “One of my friends was fostering her until her kittens were old enough to be rehomed along with herself. I fell in love with her, and I felt I had to have her.” Jemima, on the other hand, was a feral kitten. She says, “My husband rescued her, as our old cat had died and we needed a kitty in our lives.”
Melanie describes Bianca as a confident, bossy but gentle and a very vocal old lady. She says fondly, “She is funny, likes most people and loves to talk.” Jemima is timid, shy and very quiet. Melanie says, “She may not interact much as she hates being away from us. Jemima loves to sleep and eat. As a kitten, she would run around our large bathtub until one day, she jumped in not realising it was full of water. Needless to say, she stopped doing it after that.”
After living in Australia for 11 years, the Nicholls family was moving back home to Manchester. Melanie says, “We had brought our cats with us when we relocated to Australia. They are fourteen years old now and healthy, so it goes without saying, we won’t leave them behind.” She adds with a smile, “They will miss the sunshine though.”
Before deciding upon Petraveller, Melanie reached out to several pet relocation consultants. She says, “I decided to choose Petraveller as their consultant was knowledgeable, friendly, caring, very efficient and easy to deal with.”
Bianca and Jemima made their trip with great ease, and Melanie was extremely pleased with the pet relocation. She says, “The customer service and communication was outstanding. We were informed every step of the way of their welfare and received photos and videos. Petraveller delivered what they said they would, and more!”
Thank you, Melanie, for trusting Petraveller with your lovely kitties.
