Michaela and her cute one-eyed Doberman doggo Brixton relocated to London from Adelaide. Here's their pet travel story.
They say home is where the heart is. Michaela decided to return to the United Kingdom after spending two years in Adelaide because she missed her family and friends back home. She was very sure her 7-month old Doberman Brixton would accompany her as there was no way she was leaving him behind.
Michaela rescued Brixton from a breeder who was giving him away on Gumtree because he was born with only one eye and nobody wanted him. Michaela says, “I wasn’t planning on bringing home a puppy till the New Year, but I knew I couldn’t pass up on giving the little boy a good home.” Talk about instant love.
Brixton is a cheeky puppy who is full of energy and craves constant attention. Michaela says affectionately, “Brixton often bumps into things and does a full head turn to see what's next to him because he has only one eye. He loves cuddling up on the sofa after a long walk, and is great with people and other dogs.”
Michaela decided to move back to London after she was offered a new job there. Brixton's wellbeing was always on Michaela's mind, and the decision to choose Petraveller to fly her pet from Adelaide to London wasn't a tough one. Michaela recalls, “I'd looked up many companies, but the biggest draw was how much Petraveller looks after the pets, communicates and helps every step of the way.”
Michaela is back home now in Surrey, and Brixton is slowly getting accustomed to the London way of life. Thank you, Michaela, for trusting Petraveller with your precious pup. It was a pleasure to take care of Brixton on his pet travel from Adelaide to London. Sending him a whole lot of love and cuddles!
