We had the opportunity of relocating handsome French Bulldog Frankie from Melbourne to Barcelona. We had a word with pet mum Andrea about Frankie and her pet relocation experience.
The Svoboda family adopted Frankie when he was four months old. Andrea says, “Our friends had bought him and weren’t able to look after him due to work commitments. Our family of five boys adore him, and he likes to think he is one of the brothers.”
Frankie is a loving and tolerant dog. Andrea says affectionately, “He is surrounded by five boys that love him and at times suffocate him with their love.” When Andrea was pregnant with her youngest son Cruze, Frankie was overprotective of her. She says, “After our son was born, we used to joke that Frankie thought that he was the dad. He wouldn’t go to my husband, and whenever my husband wasn’t home, he would sleep on his pillow or sit on his chair at the table. Cruze is two years old now, and Frankie still shares a special bond with him.”
The Svoboda family were relocating to Barcelona, Spain to experience the world. Andrea says, “I have lots of family and friends in Europe and we thought it would be a great base for us. We could never leave Frankie behind. It would be like leaving one of our boys behind.”
Andrea started looking into pet travel companies to help her with Frankie’s pet travel to Spain. She says, “I made lots of phone calls and received plenty of quotes. Petraveller went above and beyond to get Frankie to Spain, even calling Emirates to make sure Frankie is on one of the first flights for pets.”
Frankie made it safely to Barcelona, Spain and is busy exploring new places and surroundings. Andrea is extremely happy with the pet travel experience. She says, “Frankie is doing really well in Spain. I was extremely nervous about flying him to Spain, but he was looked after very well. I am happy with the whole team at Petraveller, and we are so grateful we can enjoy this European experience with Frankie.”
Thank you, Andrea, for trusting Petraveller with your pet’s relocation. We wish the Svoboda family good luck and here’s to tons of new memories with Frankie in Spain!
