Petraveller moved beautiful Maltese x Blue Heeler Guinness from Sydney to Los Angeles. Pet mum Ellen talks fondly about her pet and tells us why she booked Petraveller for the international pet relocation to Los Angeles.
Ellen adopted Guinness from a shelter two years ago as a ten-month-old puppy. Ellen smiles and says, “Guinness is my first ever dog, and I spoiled her a little too much, but she still turned out surprisingly well-behaved.”
Guinness is a very social and energetic dog. Ellen says, “Guinness loves playing chase with dogs. She enthusiastically greets all the adults in a room when visitors are around. The only exception is during fetch when Guinness becomes more than a little ball obsessed and ignores everything else.”
Ellen continues, “Guinness doesn’t like skateboards, scooters, or roller-skates, and unfortunately, she has started to associate these items with young children. She barks at primary aged kids when they walk by at the park. We are working on this with her, but it is a slow process.”
Guinness was moving to Los Angeles to reunite with her mum Ellen. “I moved to the US in August 2021 to pursue a work opportunity and decided to leave Guinness in Australia for the first six months until I had settled in and figured out the local area,” says Ellen.
Ellen decided to get professional help to move her pet safely from Sydney to Los Angeles. She received several quotes from pet relocation companies but chose to partner with Petraveller for Guinness’s international move. Explaining the reason to choose Petraveller, Ellen says, “It was important to me that Guinness travelled on a direct flight to the US and other pet travel companies were not able to offer this option.”
Guinness was an absolute darling on her flight to Los Angeles and is now happily reunited with her mum Ellen. Thank you, Ellen, for partnering with Petraveller for Guinness’s international relocation. We wish you good luck and a wonderful time with darling Guinness in the United States.
