“Petraveller was recommended by a friend who had used their services.”

Pet mom Rachael booked Petraveller’s services to relocate her gorgeous Miniature Schnauzer dogs Jet and Betsy from Melbourne to France. She talks about her pets and shares why she decided to use Petraveller.

Jet was adopted by Rachael’s husband from a local breeder just a year before they met. A year later they adopted Jet’s half-sister, Betsy, as a companion for Jet.

Rachael describes Jet as a bit anxious. She says, “He attaches himself quickly to any human in a carer position. He is generally very gentle but will go into an alpha mode when he encounters other dogs.”

Speaking of Betsy, she says, “Betsy has a bit of spunk and a naughty streak. She thinks she is in charge of the humans, but is quite submissive with other dogs. She also gets very stressed when she is separated from her big brother.”

Jet and Betsy tend to get excited and bark when people arrive or walk past the house. They love being indoors and in close proximity with their humans.

The McCully family left Australia to live in France with their young children for six to seven months. Rachael arranged for Jet and Betsy to live with a family friend until they returned home. However, the McCullys decided to stay on in France for several more years and decided that it was time to bring the pets over. Rachael says, “We left them behind initially thinking it would be best since we were travelling a lot. After we decided that we were staying, there was no question about bringing them to France.”

Rachael reached out to Petraveller for the relocation. She says, “Petraveller was recommended by a friend who used their services to relocate their dog to Paris a few years ago.”

Jet and Betsy made it safely to France and are busy venturing into their new surroundings. Thank you, Rachael, for trusting us to help you with the pet relocation. Our best wishes and hugs to Jet and Betsy!
