Petraveller helped pet mum Sandra relocate her fearless Domestic Shorthair cat Kiva from Sydney to Zurich. Sandra speaks to us about Kiva and her adventures.
Kiva was a stray on the farm where Sandra’s friend worked. Pet mum Sandra recalls, “She came straight over asked for attention and checked out my car. After making sure she doesn’t belong to anyone, I took her home and had a vet visit. The vet guessed her age to be around six months.”
Kiva is a very fearless cat. Sandra says, “No matter the size, she takes on other dogs or cats if they get in her territory. Wherever she goes, she acts as if she owns the place. She’s an excellent hunter and brings anything home including bats, snakes and rabbits. Unfortunately, most of them are still alive when she brings them in the house, and it’s up to me to catch and release them.”
Sandra quit her job and decided to return home to Germany and look for a job there. She says, “I could never leave Kiva behind as she is spoilt. She is used to a rural lifestyle, so she’s coming with me to Germany.” Sandra adds, “But if I find a new job in Australia, I’ll probably leave her in Germany with my parents.”
Like most pet parents, she was worried as to how Kiva would handle the long journey. Sandra says, “Kiva doesn’t travel well in a car. She gets stressed and keeps calling out.”
Sandra reached out to Petraveller to help her with Kiva’s international pet transport to Zurich. She says, “A friend of mine used Petraveller to fly her dog to New Zealand, and she was happy with your service.”
Kiva made their journey to Zurich successfully. Thank you, Sandra, for using Petraveller for your pet’s relocation. We wish you all the best on your move and sending hugs and kisses to sweet Kiva!
