Petraveller recently relocated a Japanese Spitz from Sydney to Singapore. Pet mom Dawn shares her pet’s relocation experience with us.
Machi became part of Dawn’s family when he was just a few months old. Machi’s previous owners couldn’t keep him because of some family issues. Dawn says, “We immediately fell in love with Machi the moment we saw him. We were quite lucky that we got to spend his puppy years with him. Looking at him all grown up now makes us all the more proud.”
Machi is a very friendly and highly energetic dog who loves to play with both dogs and people. Dawn says, “Machi is very sociable and loves his hugs and cuddles.”
Machi is very attached to the Lee family and also has slight separation anxiety when he is at home alone. Dawn says, “We have installed a dog cam at home, and we realised that he barks and howls when he is alone. He also follows us around the house no matter where we go.”
Dawn and her partner decided to return home to Singapore after studying and working in Sydney for almost five years. She says, “Machi is a part of our family now and leaving him back here in Sydney did not even cross our minds, so we decided to take him home with us.”
When Dawn started looking for pet travel agencies, she came across a few options before she chose Petraveller. Dawn says, “At Petraveller, the pet travel procedures were clear, and the staff were very accommodating.”
Machi is now well settled in his new home in Singapore. We thank you for showing your trust in Petraveller and letting us relocate dear Machi.
