Petraveller relocated Maga, a Cocker Spaniel x Labrador recently from Melbourne to Buenos Aires. Here’s her relocation story.
Maga was rescued from the streets of Buenos Aires when she was a little puppy. Fernanda recalls, “As soon as I heard about her, I contacted the person in charge of the pet shelter. I adopted her, and from that moment on, she became a member of my family.”
Maga’s days as a stray have branded her for life. She is afraid of people she doesn’t know and doesn’t get along very well with other dogs. Fernanda says, “When she is sure that the new people won’t hurt her, she behaves playfully and lovely. But she needs time to get adjusted to new people.”
The Felipe family and Maga were now returning home to Argentina after their time in Australia. When they moved to Australia, Fernanda was determined to bring Maga with her. Fernanda says, “Leaving Maga in Argentina was never an option. If for any reason Maga had not been allowed to enter the country, I would not have come to Australia either. When I adopted Maga, I made a promise that we would always be together. Wherever we go, she will come with us.”
When it was time to return home, it was evident that Maga would make the journey with them. Fernanda chose Petraveller to relocate her precious dog from Melbourne to Buenos Aires. She says, “We chose Petraveller because we felt that you care for animals and transported pets as important family members and not as objects.” Fernanda was anxious about the journey because of Maga’s dietary requirements. Maga is on a special diet because of her sensitive stomach.
We are happy to say that Maga had a fantastic flight from Melbourne to Buenos Aires and is adjusting well to her new surroundings. Fernanda couldn’t be happier with Maga’s pet relocation experience. She says, “We are very satisfied with the service provided. We knew from the very beginning that Petraveller cared about Maga. We want to thank Petraveller for making us feel that Maga was in good hands.”
Thank you, Fernanda, for trusting us with sweet Maga. Here’s to more wonderful adventures in Argentina!
