International pet relocation can be daunting, especially with anxious pets. Here’s the relocation story of a nervous pet, Maple, who relocated from Sydney to Calgary with Petraveller.
Maple is a very sweet and friendly dog. She loves to snuggle and is super curious. Pet parent Sarah says, “Maple loves being around people and expects belly rubs from all humans. Maple will have her nose in anything you try to do to see what you’re doing. She is very attached to me. She is friendly with all dogs and will hello to any dog and try to win them over to play. She likes to sniff around the dog park and do her own thing.”
Sarah cautions, “Maple is anxious when left alone and scratches the door if she is left outside. She doesn’t like being in the crate and might scratch at the door to get out.”
Sarah was relocating to Calgary, in Canada. She says, “I lived in Canada for six years before COVID and came back to Australia to be close to family. I thought that I would stay here permanently but got offered a great job back at my old workplace, so I decided to go back.”
Sarah decided to engage the services of an international pet transport company to help her with Maple’s relocation to Calgary. Sarah was very anxious about putting her pooch through an international trip of that length. She reached out to a different pet transport company before Petraveller. Sarah says, “I had a bad experience as it was very difficult to contact the company. I spoke to four different people who all had different information for me. Maple was bumped off a few flights, and then offered flights that weren’t available. It was all very confusing and frustrating. That’s when I looked for other providers and found Petraveller.”
Maple had an incredible journey and landed safely in Calgary. Sarah is more than happy with the pet travel experience. Thank you, Sarah, for reaching out to Petraveller for Maple’s international relocation. We wish you good luck and many incredible adventures with Maple out there in Calgary.
