Alexandru and his beloved cats Mischka and Bobby travelled from Sydney to Budapest with Petraveller. Alexandru talks affectionately about his pets and tells us why he chose Petraveller for their international pet relocation to Budapest.
Alexandru adopted Domestic Long Hair Mischka ten years ago and Domestic Shorthair Bobby seven years ago and made them a part of his family.
Speaking about Mischka’s nature, Alexandru says, “Mischka has a lot of personality, like any tortoise shell cat. She is very sweet with us but does not like strangers very much. Bobby, on the other hand, is extremely attached to us. He loves to be cuddled, but extremely shy and scared of unknown environments.”
Alexandru was moving back to his hometown in Budapest, Hungary. He says, “We have retired and wish to be close to our family and friends. Leaving our pets behind was not an option. They are part of our family, and no one else will love them and look after them like we do.”
Like most pet parents, Alexandru was extremely worried about putting his beloved cats through the stress of travelling for long hours. Hence, he decided to contact an international pet transport specialist to manage the pet transportation from Sydney to Budapest. Alexandru says, “We looked at other companies, but they were not willing to assist because the Covid-19 pandemic created a lot of problems.” He got in touch with Petraveller to handle Mischka and Bobby’s move to Hungary. Alexandru says, “We chose Petraveller because some friends used the company when they relocated to Cyprus.”
