Linda relocated with her sweet Domestic Shorthair cat Paws from Melbourne to Christchurch to be with her near and dear ones. She talks about Paws and tells us why she was impressed with the pet travel experience.
Paws got a new home in July 2012 when Linda adopted him from the RSPCA and made him a part of her family. Linda recalls, “He was seven months old when he was handed in at the shelter. He was born with missing toes, but that has not slowed him down at all.”
Linda describes Paws as an indoor cat who goes outside on the balcony for outdoor time. She says, “He is a cat that will sniff to say hello and will make it clear when he is hungry. He does take a bit to warm up to people. Since he has been on his own for his life, interactions with other cats have been limited. Paws does not like his back paws being touched, and he reacts with a little warning bite if that happens.”
Linda was moving back home to Christchurch, New Zealand, to spend time with her family. She says, “There was no option to relocate Paws in Melbourne with another family, so he is coming with me.”
Linda started her online search for a reputed pet transport company who could help in transporting her pet safely to Christchurch. Her research led her to Petraveller, and she reached out to us for Paws’ pet transport. She says, “I loved the updates from Facebook of all the stories from other pet owners. I was very impressed with the response of the original quote, and then dealing with the company the initial stages was also awesome. All my questions were answered, and everyone was so friendly. Petraveller has taken over the process and has been outstanding. I am happy that I chose Petraveller to get Paws to New Zealand.”
Paws had an incredible journey and landed safely and comfortably in New Zealand. Thank you, Linda, for trusting Petraveller and for your valuable feedback. We wish you good luck and lots of kisses to dear Paws.
