Carl and his gorgeous Neapolitan Mastiff Pepper moved from Australia to London with Petraveller. Here’s their pet relocation story.
Pepper was a rescue dog that entered the McHale family when she was about 18 months old. She is a loving dog and very protective of her family. Carl says, “Pepper prefers to be around women and is defensive around men because she is nervous. Once introduced, she will stay close and enjoy being tickled on the snout and neck. She loves to lie down with her paws in the air asking for a belly rub.”
Like a typical Mastiff, Pepper loves paddling through dirty water and making a mess. Carl says fondly, “If she puts her jaw on your lap, it’s a sign that you’ve won her over, and she will leave her droopy jowl slobber all over you. If she doesn’t want to go somewhere, she will lie down flat, paws out in front and not move.”
The McHale family were returning home to London and leaving Pepper behind was never an option. Carl contacted Petraveller to help with Pepper’s pet travel. He was concerned about how Pepper would handle the long flight, given that she is a large Mastiff. Carl says, “We chose Petraveller because they provided flights via Singapore to Heathrow, which is what we were looking for.”
Pepper made the journey very well and is settling well in her new home. Carl is happy he chose Petraveller to help with Pepper’s pet transport. He says, “From start to finish everyone was on time and updates were timely. Everybody who had contact with Pepper commented on how great she was, no easy feat for a 64kg mastiff. Thank you for looking after Pepper throughout her journey.”
Thank you, Carl, for choosing Petraveller to fly your gorgeous girl. Here’s to new adventures in the United Kingdom!
