Pretzel and Stephanie

“Petraveller had the best reviews.”

Stephanie travelled with her adorable Tonkinese cat Pretzel from Melbourne to Christchurch with Petraveller. She narrates how Pretzel became a part of her family and why she reached out to Petraveller for the international pet relocation.

Stephanie adopted Pretzel just before Christmas in 2018. He and his two brothers and mother had been found in a park, looking dishevelled and hungry. They lived at the vet until all of them were adopted.

Stephanie says affectionately, “Pretzel is a curious kitty, who has now entered his teens, meaning he likes to explore outside, watch us, sometimes play hide and seek and loves a snuggle at night time. He sleeps with us on the bed but is his own man now.”

Pretzel is a curious, semi-playful cat. Loves his food (gravy from wet food and his nuts) and likes to explore. “He likes to meet other cats, although I am not sure how much he loves to play with them. He is very wary of dogs, but only in his older age. This wasn’t an issue when he was a kitten as he was living at the vet’s clinic,” says Stephanie.

The Ross family was moving back home to Christchurch, New Zealand. Stephanie says, “We are setting up our life there and couldn’t do this without Pretz.”

Pet relocation can be overwhelming because of the different procedures, which can be complicated. Hence, Stephanie decided to engage the services of a pet relocation company to help with the required paperwork and make it less stressful on her and Pretzel. She reached out to Petraveller to assist her in relocating Pretzel. She says, “Petraveller had the best reviews online. They were professional and responded to us in time.”

We are glad to say that Pretzel had a pleasant flight from Melbourne to Christchurch and is getting used to the new surroundings. Thank you, Stephanie, for choosing Petraveller to relocate your dearest Pretzel. Best wishes on your move and lots of kisses to sweet Pretzel.
