Laura and her cute Maltese Pucci travelled from Sydney to Chicago with Petraveller. Read about Laura and Pucci’s special bond and their international relocation experience with Petraveller.
Pucci became part of the Roberts family in September 2019. Laura recalls, “Pucci was at Room for Pets in Bondi Junction and when I picked her up, she went right into my neck like a scarf and did not move for an hour. So, we named her Pucci after my favourite scarf designer, Emilio Pucci. She is fluent in both English and Italian.”
Laura talks of her pet’s unique personality. She says, “Pucci is the friendliest, funniest, and most loving dog I’ve ever seen. She loves playing with other dogs in the oval from across our house. Pucci runs up and greets every dog that comes to the park. She plays well with dogs of all sizes. If they are small, she’s careful with them, but she’ll jump over and around the big ones. Pucci has a signature ‘tuck, duck and roll’ move. Pucci once stood on the back of a Bulldog to dominate the rest of the dogs.”
Laura laughs and continues, “Pucci demands belly rubs from everyone she meets. She is very loving and wakes me up with kisses every morning. Pucci knows when I’m upset and will come and offer a hug. She is a lot of fun, and is obsessed with playing fetch.”
Laura was moving to Chicago. She says, “I’m moving back home to the United States, and leaving Pucci behind was not an option.”
Laura decided to engage the services of an experienced pet travel company to handle her pet’s journey to the United States. Based on a recommendation, Laura contacted Petraveller to manage Pucci’s pet travel from Sydney to Chicago. Laura says, “My friend sent her dog to Ireland and raved about Petraveller’s service.”
Pucci was an absolute darling and behaved very well during her long flight to Chicago. Thank you, Laura, for giving Petraveller the opportunity to relocate your precious pet. We wish you a good life ahead and many fun and exciting adventures with Pucci in the United States.
