Every moment is a fresh beginning. Here’s the story of Stacey and her gorgeous Domestic Shorthair cat Remi who travelled with Petraveller from Albury to Dallas Fort Worth to start a new life. Stacey talks about her pet’s temperament and tells us why she chose Petraveller for the international move.
Stacey became a pet mum in February of 2017 when she adopted Remi from a lady on Facebook. Stacey says fondly, “Remi has slept on my bed, under the blankets curled up with me every night, and came with me when I moved to Bendigo for University.”
Discussing Remi’s personality, Stacey says, “She loves to cuddle, especially when it’s cold, but only when she wants to. She is an indoor cat because I believe it is safer for her. She is totally happy and content to just watch the wildlife through the window while lounging on the couch.”
Stacey continues, “It was until after I got Remi that I learned that tortoiseshell cats are known for their attitude. Remi may only be half tortoiseshell but she is definitely the boss of the household!”
Stacey was relocating to Dallas Fort Worth, US, with Remi. “I recently started a new job as a paramedic in Louisiana, America. I have always believed that pets are a lifelong commitment, so leaving Remi behind was never an option for me. I am excited to begin this new life in the United States with her,” says Stacey.
Stacey decided to take help from a reputed pet travel company to manage her pet’s journey from Albury to Dallas Fort Worth, so she would be relieved of the tedious pet relocation process. Stacey contacted several pet travel agencies before reaching out to Petraveller to help her with Remi’s relocation. She says, “I could not even get a quote from the other agencies. Petraveller’s professionalism and care stood out and it was easy to select them.”
Remi made her long journey without a worry and landed safely in Dallas Fort Worth. Thank you, Stacey, for choosing Petraveller for beloved Remi’s international journey. We wish you the best and big hugs to sweet Remi.
