We had the opportunity to relocate cute Domestic Shorthair Stewie from Sydney to Paris. Here is his pet relocation story.
Stewie was adopted by Daniel almost five years ago from a vet in Blacktown when he was just 12 weeks old. Stewie and Daniel live in a house on a quiet and traffic-free street. Daniel says, “Stewie had access to the outdoors, 24/7 and made friends with my neighbour’s cats.” Despite being dog-friendly as a kitten, he developed a fear of dogs later. “This was due to an unfriendly neighbour, who would encourage his small dog to chase cats in the street,” says Daniel.
Stewie is a shy cat with a tiny voice. He is good with people and will even let pedestrians walking down the street pet him. Daniel adds, “Once in confidence, he becomes a real glue stick to anyone willing to give him a cuddle.”
After living in Sydney for ten years, Daniel felt it was time to relocate. He says, “It’s time to try something new which will let me be closer to my family.”
Daniel chose Petraveller based on a recommendation of a friend. He says, “A friend of mine used Petraveller to relocate his small dog to London and recommended me to get in touch with you.” Daniel was anxious about the pet relocation because Stewie was not a great traveller. He says, “The only thing that stresses Stewie out is the crate and visits to the vet.”
Stewie had a safe and comfortable journey from Sydney and is now busy exploring beautiful Paris. Thank you, Daniel, for choosing Petraveller for Stewie’s pet relocation to Paris.
