Here’s the relocation story of Staffordshire Terrier Sunny who thinks she is human and sits with her legs crossed like a lady. Read to know more about Sunny and her international pet travel experience from Perth to Auckland with Petraveller.
Sunny got a forever home when Manuela adopted her from Safe Broome six years ago. Manuela shares, “Sunny had been in a foster home with two lovely ladies for sixteen months before I adopted her.”
Manuela talks about her pet’s fun-loving personality. She laughs and says, “Sunny thinks she is a human and steals your seats. She crosses her legs like a lady and always finds a soft spot to lay on to be lazy all day until we go to the beach, or if there’s food is involved, she turns into a jumping puppy.”
Manuela continues, “Sunny is afraid of vets and hates getting bathed and getting her ears wet. But with a little talk and no escape, she gets it over and done with. Sunny is very affectionate and a gentle girl to humans. However, she can be a little bully to little dogs.”
Manuela and her husband were moving to Auckland. “My husband and I are moving home for good and to give Sunny the biggest backyard she has ever seen. We are excited about our future and never would leave Sunny behind; she’s our family,” says Manuela.
Manuela started enquiring about pet travel options in Australia to move her dog to New Zealand. She received quotes from many pet transport companies but chose to partner with Petraveller for Sunny’s travel. Manuela says, “Petraveller stood out and felt right. The communication is good and informative; it helped me trust the process, and everyone looked after Sunny well.”
We are glad to say that Sunny had an incredible flight and made it to Auckland in good health. Thank you, Manuela, for allowing Petraveller to relocate your precious dog. We wish you the best and many fun and exciting adventures with Sunny in New Zealand.
