Toni, Rosa and Caterina

“Toni is more of a human being than a dog.”

Petraveller relocated two lovely Chihuahuas, Toni and Rosa, from Sydney to Frankfurt. Pet mum Caterina talks about her pets and what led her to Petraveller for Toni and Rosa’s international pet relocation.

Toni became a part of the Kuenne family in 2013 when he was fourteen weeks old. Later in January 2015, Rosa joined the family. Caterina says, “In February 2020, both arrived here in Sydney because we wanted to live here for at least three years but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are going back to Germany.”

Talking about Toni’s personality, Caterina says, “Toni is more a human being than a dog. He is quite shy and always wants to protect Rosa. He is sensitive and needs time with strangers. He is fussy and not a good eater.” On the other hand, Rosa loves to get cuddles from everybody. She is very friendly and loves all food.

The Kuenne family was heading back home to Frankfurt, Germany due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Caterina says, “We run our own company in Germany and have to go back because travelling between the two countries is not allowed now. Of course, we want to take Toni and Rosa!” Leaving their furry family behind was not an option for the Kuenne family.

Relocating a pet abroad comes with a lot of stress and worry due to the lengthy process and the ample paperwork necessary. To make the relocation process a lot easier and comfortable for Toni and Rosa, Caterina decided to partner with a pet relocation company to handle the international pet transport. She reached out to Petraveller to handle her pets’ travel after reading online recommendations.

We are delighted to say that Toni and Rosa made it safely and comfortably to Frankfurt, Germany. Thank you, Caterina, for trusting Petraveller with your adorable pets. We wish you good luck and lots of hugs to Toni and Rosa.
