Elizabeth and her beautiful Cavoodle Poppy travelled from Sydney to Christchurch with Petraveller. Elizabeth speaks about her pet and shares why she chose Petraveller for Poppy’s international pet transport.
Elizabeth has had Poppy since Poppy was twelve-week-old puppy. She says affectionately, “She is beautiful and a very gentle soul, who would not harm a fly. She is very affectionate with people she knows. She is also sensitive and picks up on loud, aggressive people and will become scared if she encounters them.
Poppy is a very playful dog who loves swimming and playing football. Elizabeth says, “Poppy does not have any road or traffic sense and will run across a road or run away if she sees another dog, bird or cat. She responds well to positive reinforcement, cuddles, balls and treats.”
After living in Australia for ten years, Elizabeth decided to move back home to New Zealand for family reasons. Like all pet parents, Elizabeth considers Poppy as her baby, and leaving her behind was never an option. She was a bit anxious and worried about the pet transport as Poppy has never flown on a plane before.
In her quest for the perfect pet travel partner, Elizabeth got in touch with several pet transport agencies before deciding upon Petraveller. She says, “This was a difficult decision considering how many other pet transport companies there are. I had six quotes to choose from, and Petraveller was not the cheapest. After having several conversations with the Pet Concierge at Petraveller, I was reassured. They gave me a lot of information and answered all my questions.”
Poppy has made it safely to Christchurch, New Zealand and is now happily exploring her new home. Elizabeth is happy that she chose Petraveller for the task. She says, “I felt reassured that Petraveller was different from other companies and provides a more boutique service, being a smaller company.”
Thank you, Elizabeth, for believing in Petraveller and allowing us to assist you with your furry baby’s relocation. Here’s wishing you and Poppy incredible adventures in New Zealand.
