Sancha moved from Australia to London with Petraveller. We spoke to Louise about her relocation experience and here’s their story.
Louise rescued Sancha from a beach in Muscat in Oman when she was hardly a week old back in November 2010. Sancha was abandoned by her mother and was being ill-treated by some locals. Sancha has been part of Louise’s family since then.
In September 2015, the family relocated from Muscat to Australia and Sancha had to spend six months in quarantine to be able to enter the country. Unfortunately, shortly after Sancha’s quarantine, the family had to move to the United Kingdom on work and a search began for a pet relocation company to help them with the travel.
Louise approached Petraveller on the recommendation of Muscat Vets and was extremely happy with the international pet relocation service. She says, “Petraveller were so sympathetic to our plight and were really kind and helpful with Sancha's pet travel. My thanks and appreciation for all you did for us in May 2016 when we were at our lowest ebb.”
Sancha is now well-settled into her Welsh home, which is completely different from the desert conditions and warmth she was used to. In March 2018, Sancha’s first encounter with snow was hilarious and documented on social media. Louise recollects with a chuckle, “I opened the front door not realising what she was about to run into. She ran out and made a full circle back into the house leaving a perfect mark in the snow!”
Thank you, Louise, for choosing Petraveller to relocate sweet Sancha.
