Barley and Amelia

Amelia booked Petraveller’s services to relocate her handsome Labrador X Barley from Canberra to Paris. Here’s their relocation story.

Amelia adopted Barley when he was ten weeks old soon after their family dog died. She smiles and says, “Barley is just happy to be alive — a typical Labrador. He loves people, but as I am his mum, he is the closest to me.”

Barley loves running and playing but is mostly an indoor dog. Amelia says fondly, “He’s relaxed around people and other dogs and is usually happy when leaning against a human and getting a pat or a cuddle. He is protective only when needed, and we have never seen him aggressive with anyone or any other animal.”

Amelia and her husband were moving to Paris as her husband was posted there for work. She says, “Barley was and has always been a part of the family. There was no way we were going to leave him behind while we are in Paris.”
