“Petraveller was friendly, informative and personal.”
Petraveller had the opportunity of relocating cute Maltese Cross Bear from Perth to Dublin. We had a word with pet mum Lisa about her pet and what made her choose Petraveller for the pet relocation. Here’s what she had to say.
The O’Keeffe family decided to adopt Bear to give themselves a little bit of practice of what it’s like having a baby. Lisa recalls, “When Bear was a pup, I accidentally gave him a tin full of sardines. We had to nurse him every couple of hours for two weeks until his surgery healed as he was in so much pain. I think we have the best bond because of it.”
Bear loves cuddles and is a very affectionate dog. He is very protective of his food and his toys. However, he is intimidated by large dogs.
The O’Keefe family were moving to Dublin to be closer to the family. Lisa says, “The new baby is a lot harder than having a pup.” Leaving Bear behind was not an option for the O’Keeffe family, and so they decided to take him along.
Relocating a pet is a complex process and requires special attention. And that’s why Lisa decided to choose an accredited international pet travel company to assist with the pet relocation. She says, “I found that Petraveller was friendly, informative and personal. They were the right company to take care of Bear on his long journey.”
We are thrilled to say that Bear was an absolute sweetheart and behaved very well on his long flight to Dublin. He is now settling in his new home, discovering new places and making new friends. Thank you, Lisa, for trusting Petraveller with your cute munchkin. We wish you good luck for the future and many more memories with Bear out there in Dublin.
