Blue and Edward

We’ve had the pleasure of relocating Blue from Melbourne to Dublin. Proud dad, Edward, talks to us about Blue and his relocation story.

Ten years ago, Blue was rescued and introduced to the Baird family. His dad Edward says, “We believe he was badly treated before, potentially by a person wearing high visibility clothing as he is very wary of anyone in high-vis.”

Blue loves being outside and enjoys being involved in everything, be it work, camping or just hanging around at home. Edward says, “Blue thrives on daily walks and getting out and about. He is also a great companion and a protective big brother to our two boys.”

Blue loves to cuddle up on the couch or in bed. He is very loyal and loves smaller dogs, particularly puppies. Edward says, “He takes on a father figure. He is like the pied piper to all of our friends’ and families’ dogs. He does not like dominant dogs as he considers himself one.”

Edward’s wife, Judy, is Irish, and they had always planned to go back to Ireland before their kids started school. Edward chose Petraveller to relocate his precious pet from Melbourne to Dublin. Talking about his reason to choose Petraveller, Edward says, “Petraveller were lovely to deal with, very reassuring, and I loved the idea of regular communication updates about my pet.”
