Gerald used Petraveller to relocate his beautiful Labrador Retriever Bonnie from Melbourne to Dublin. Gerald talks about Bonnie’s nature and explains why he chose Petraveller for the international pet relocation.

The Kinsella family first met Bonnie when she was three weeks old and was still with her two sisters and seven brothers. They chose her because she was more golden in appearance than the others and they have always wanted a female dog. Gerald says, “We waited until she was allowed to leave her mom before she became a part of our family.”

Bonnie is a beautiful family dog. Gerald says affectionately, “We needed to choose a dog that would suit our growing family, and she has fitted in superbly. If she is off-lead, she will go and say hello to every dog she sees and will also go tail-wagging to every person for some attention.” 

Gerald adds, “Bonnie is the friendliest dog ever with an excellent temperament. She loves nothing more than sprinting after a tennis ball and swimming in any river, lake or sea she can get near. However, she has been attacked before, so she is a little anxious about some dogs approaching her while she’s on lead.”

Gerald decided to relocate back home to Knocklyon, Dublin due to family reasons after their second child was born. He says, “We are originally from Ireland, and it was our intention to move back someday. I was made redundant from work and COVID-19 made our decision on when to leave.” He adds, “We tried everything we could to bring Bonnie with us but to no avail as it was difficult enough for us to leave at the time.”

Gerald decided to use the services of an international pet relocation company to reunite Bonnie with the family. It’s tough to be separated from our beloved pet, and Petraveller genuinely cares and are on our side to help get her home safely and as soon as possible.”
