Coalball and Yi Wen

Sydney to Singapore

Trip Overview

Owner: Yi Wen Wang

Origin: Sydney

Pet Name: Coalball

Destination: Singapore

Breed: Labradoodle

“Coalball knows how to enjoy life.”

Yi Wen travelled with her adorable Labradoodle Coalball from Sydney to Singapore with Petraveller. We asked Yi Wen about her pet and her pet travel experience with Petraveller. Here’s what she had to say.

Coalball became a member of Yi Wen’s when he was ten weeks old. Coalball is a very friendly, curious and energetic dog. Yi Wen says, “Coalball likes to play with balls. He holds the ball and runs around me to get me to chase him. He knows how to enjoy life. After I walk him, he’ll find his sunny spot near the window and lie down for hours or snuggle in his mat if it’s raining. Coalball knows commands like sit, paw, stay, roll and spin. He can even jump through a hoop.”

Coalball loves food. Yi Wen laughs and shares an amusing incident, “Once Coalball was so focussed on the treat in my hand that he bumped his head on the wall!” He has a very sensitive tummy, and changes in food or environment trigger diarrhoea easily.

Yi Wen continues, “Coalball barks if he sees any dogs when I walk him in the street. I assume that’s his way of saying hello. When he sees bigger dogs or senses any insecurity, he will growl. Coalball was bullied by two big dogs when he was a puppy. I think that’s the way he warns and protects himself. He’s never charged anyone or any dog.”

Yi Wen was relocating to Singapore for work and was bringing Coalball along as she couldn’t imagine moving without her precious fur baby.

Yi Wen decided to seek help from international pet transport specialists to manage Coalball’s transport. She reached out to Petraveller and designated the responsibility of relocating Coalball from Sydney to Singapore. Yi Wen says, “Petraveller was professional and efficient.”

Coalball was a happy traveller and made it to Singapore in good health. Thank you, Yi Wen, for trusting Petraveller with dear Coalball. We wish you all the best and lots of love and cuddles to sweet Coalball!
