Collins and Mauricio

“Collins will do anything for boiled chicken.”

Mauricio and his cute little Maltese x Poodle, Collins, travelled from Melbourne to Lisbon with Petraveller. Pet dad Mauricio talks about his doggo Collins, and why he chose Petraveller for the international pet relocation to Lisbon.

Collins became a part of the Pereira family about four months ago. Mauricio says fondly, “Collins has changed our lives completely, for the better, of course!”

Mauricio reveals his pet’s amazing personality. He says, “Collins is very playful! He likes to play tug and fetch. Collins adores people and his puppy friends. He is not aware of his size, and he loves to smell and play with big dogs like Staffies and Rottweilers. Therefore, we need to always keep an eye on him.”

Collins is extremely smart and knows commands such as sit, down, stay, play dead, roll over, sit pretty and does an average heel. Mauricio laughs and says, “Collins will do anything for boiled chicken.”

The Pereira family were moving back to their home town in Lisbon, Portugal. Leaving their pet behind wasn’t even a point of discussion for the Pereiras. It was a no brainer as Collins is a part of the family.
