Daisy and Natasha

Gorgeous Labrador Retriever Daisy travelled from Melbourne to Oslo with Petraveller. Read to know more about Daisy’s special bond with her human mum Natasha and her pet relocation experience with Petraveller. 

Natasha started looking for puppies online five years ago as she felt she was ready to have her very own first fur baby in her life. She recollects, “I came across Daisy’s mums’ litter online and researched the breeds -Labrador and Rottweiler. I thought, what a perfect mix and perfect for me! I spoke with the owner and made sure it was a legit breeder and not a puppy farm. I picked Daisy up when she was nine weeks old. It was love at first sight, she came straight up to me and was full of energy and cheekiness. She’s been by my side ever since.”

Daisy loves walks and loves the water. Her favourite place is the beach. She loves walking on the beach and swimming, and absolutely loves chasing the ball. She’s pretty good with other dogs and likes playing with them.

Natasha fondly says, “I take her to a puppy school, and she has her regular vet checks and vaccinations. She is very well behaved and trained.” She laughs and adds, “Daisy is a bit of a princess. She is an inside dog and loves cuddles on the couch. When she wants pats, she will tell you by pawing at you. It looks like she’s trying to high five with your leg or arm!”

Natasha shares a funny incident. She says, “Once I was walking her in the park, when she saw a pond with ducks. She ran in there so fast and nearly took me in there with her. If there’s a muddy puddle and she’s off the leash, she will get in there.”

Natasha was moving to Oslo, Norway with Daisy. She says, “I couldn’t imagine life without Daisy, and it’s the most important thing for me to move her to Norway.”

Natasha started her online hunt for an accredited pet transport agency to relocate her pet abroad. She says, “Petraveller was the second company I contacted. I liked the customer reviews. The first company that I contacted sent me a quote, but never heard back from them. Petraveller has been brilliant, especially with what’s going on with COVID-19.
