Dougal and Carol

Carol and her gorgeous Labrador Retriever Dougal recently relocated from Brisbane to Dublin. Carol describes her pet’s personality and tells us why she chose Petraveller for her pet’s travel.

Dougal became a part of the Nolan family as a little pup. He is five years old now. Carol says fondly, “Dougal is a ball of fun and my best friend who has kept me company when my husband worked in mining. He loves his cuddles and is well trained, but he sometimes acts like a clown when we go out”. She adds, “He thinks everyone is his best mate, including other dogs.”

Carol finds Dougal very amusing. She says, “When Dougal gets a treat, like a sausage or a burger, he wags his tail furiously and plays with the treat by throwing it up in the air and bowing down to move it around like a toy.” 

Dougal loves Carol’s son, and they play together like a couple of pups. She shares his goofy moments and says, “Dougal’s funniest clumpiest day was when he tried to walk through the patio door and bumped his head not once, but twice. He is a big suck, and we love him to pieces.”

The Nolan family were moving back home to Ireland and decided to take their four-legged family member along with them. Carol began inquiring of some experienced international pet relocation companies to help her with the relocation of her pet. Dougal had a fantastic flight. He was an absolute sweetheart and well behaved during his long flight home to Dublin. He is now busy exploring the new surroundings and making new doggy friends.
