Bethany returns to Petraveller to fly her cute Miniature Shepherd Ellie from Sydney to Los Angeles. Here’s their story.

Ellie became part of Bethany’s family when she was six weeks old. Bethany says, “Ellie is very in tune with me and always knows what I need. She is a bit spoiled, but very cuddly and needy.”

Bethany says, “Ellie’s personality can best be described as high maintenance. She loves pats but not on her hind legs because it’s a sensitive area for Ellie. She has had reactions to shots in the past and touching her hind legs will make her squeal, which is really heartbreaking. It has left Ellie a little wary of people touching her there.”

Bethany and Ellie moved from the United States to Australia a few years ago, and now they are permanently moving back to the States. Bethany says, “Ellie is with me for life, no matter where I go. I would never consider leaving her anywhere. I hate that she has to travel via air, but there isn’t any other choice.”

When Bethany moved from the United States to Australia, Petraveller managed the Australian side of the relocation. She reached out to Petraveller to help with Ellie’s move back home. Bethany says, “When my pup arrived in Australia, Petraveller took over to complete the journey. I wanted to use them again because they know the ins and outs of it all. I had a great experience with them in the past, so I didn’t see any reason to go elsewhere.”
