“Emmy is the centre of our lives.”

Petraveller relocated adorable Hungarian Vizsla Emmy from Sydney to Zurich. Pet parent Klarika talks about her pet and explains why she chose Petraveller for Emmy’s international pet travel to Switzerland.

Emmy became a part of Klarika’s family in March 2021, after one-and-a-half-year long wait on a puppy waiting list. Klarika speaks fondly about her pet. She says, “Emmy is a high energy dog with the biggest personality. She is very vocal and chatty. Emmy is a very spoiled girl and is the centre of our lives.”

Klarika describes Emmy as an intelligent dog. She says, “We have trained Emmy ourselves, and she is very obedient. When training her, we use positive enforcement. Emmy needs quite a lot of exercise, both mentally and physically. She loves to play with her frisbee and run around.” Klarika adds, “Emmy is shy and timid with new people and situations, so positive reassurance is very important! When she is given time to get comfortable, she is very submissive and friendly.”

After residing in Australia for six years, it was time for Klarika to move back home to Zurich. She says, “We are both from Europe, and it’s time for us to move back home. Leaving Emmy behind was never and will never be an option.”
