Here’s the pet travel story of charming Staghound x Kelpie, Gabbie, who is a favourite member of the Godkin family. Read about Gabbie as she travels from Brisbane to the city of romance, Paris, with Petraveller. 

The Godkin family adopted Gabbie from a rescue group in Wagga Wagga when she was twelve weeks old. Alicia talks fondly about Gabbie. She smiles and says, “Gabbie has been a massive part of our family since day one. She has been with us for every move and every special occasion, including being the ring bearer at our wedding and a posting to England. We base our holidays around where we can take her.”

Like most dogs, Gabbie absolutely loves attention. Alicia says, “Gabbie will happily spend her days cuddling with you on the couch or adventuring and discovering new places. She loves a good butt scratch and will often not so subtly hint that she wants one by leaning on you. Gabbie loves people and other dogs; sometimes a little too much and can’t tell when a dog doesn’t want to play.” Alicia adds, “Gabbie has taken the new role of big sister in her stride as we welcomed our daughter into the world earlier this year.”

The Godkin family were moving to Paris, France. She says, “We are being posted to Paris for my husband’s work. Gabbie goes everywhere with us, so as soon as we found out we were being posted overseas again, we began the process of getting her ready.”

Alicia reached out to Petraveller to manage Gabbie’s travel arrangements. She says, “We used Petraveller to fly Gabbie to England and back, and we were very happy with how she was taken care of, so we have happily chosen Petraveller again.”
