Gekas and Vasiliki

“Petraveller looks after the pets as their own.”

Vasiliki and her cute Maltese cross Pomeranian dog Gekas travelled from Sydney to Athens with Petraveller. Vasiliki talks about the pet travel experience and what led her to Petraveller.

Like many dogs, Gekas loves cuddles and is all ears when someone calls his name. Vasiliki says, “He is frightened of loud noises like the sound of motorbikes and even of pots hitting the kitchen floor. Gekas gets stressed and cries when left alone, even when I go to the toilet. He’s very stubborn and his favourite activity is to chew slippers. When it comes to food, Gekas loves eating chicken and lamb.”

Vasiliki was moving back home to Athens, Greece, and she was certain that Gekas would be joining her. Pet travel can be a stressful process especially if you are in the middle of your own international relocation. To make it easier and less stressful, Vasiliki decided to hire an international pet relocation company to assist her with her pet’s relocation.
