“Leaving George behind wasn't an option.”
Zoe and her adorable Cavoodle George moved from Melbourne to Los Angeles with Petraveller. Zoe takes us through the pet relocation experience and talks about how George handled the long journey.
Zoe adopted George when he was about nine weeks old, and they have been inseparable ever since. George is a well-mannered doggy and is pampered by Zoe. She says with fondness, “George loves cuddles and treats, especially chicken treats. He prefers people to other dogs, and sometimes gets upset if he is not around people.”
George likes to play with other small dogs like him and can get a little barky when he meets dogs that are bigger than him. He can sit, shake and high five very well.
Zoe was moving to the United States of America on work and couldn’t imagine leaving her best friend George behind. Zoe was concerned about the move because the flight was long and George was very shy with people that he didn’t know. She says, “Leaving George behind wasn't an option; I considered leaving him with my mother but decided that the plane ride would ultimately have less impact on him than me leaving him for a few years.”
Zoe reached out to different pet travel agencies before deciding on Petraveller to help her with George’s relocation from Australia to Los Angeles. She says, “When I contacted Petraveller, I immediately liked the vibe. I spoke to other companies too but decided to go with Petraveller.
George was the perfect traveller and handled his long flight to Los Angeles with great ease. He is now happily settled in and eager to explore his new home.
Thank you, Zoe, for choosing Petraveller to be your pet transport partner. Here’s to great new adventures in the United States!
