“Georgie thinks she is a human and cannot understand if she can’t do human things!”
Laura and her beautiful Groodle Georgie travelled from Sydney to London with Petraveller. We spoke to Laura about sweet Georgie and her pet relocation experience.
Georgie became part of the Davies family 11 years ago when she came from a farm in Victoria. Since then, she has been a beloved member of the family. Recently, Georgie had a little ‘sister’ who is six months old, who she loves dearly.
Georgie is a very laidback doggie with a mind of her own. She is extremely calm and loving and loves her walks. Laura says with a smile, “Georgie is very laidback except when she is undertaking her very important job of protecting the family against real threats such as the terriers who live upstairs and any possum or sausage dog that is silly enough to cross her path. She takes this role very seriously and barks very loudly at them but doesn’t really know what to do with them if she gets close!”
Georgie loves to roll in the grass and pull balls out of the sea, like most Groodles. She enjoys chasing birds and cats and wallowing in muddy puddles. Laura says fondly, “Georgie’s most favourite things are to have her belly rubbed and lie down and watch the world go by.”
The Davies family decided to move to London to be closer to family after the birth of their lovely daughter. There was no doubt in their mind that Georgie was going with them. Laura says, “We would never consider leaving Georgie behind, despite many offers to take her.”
Laura contacted Petraveller to help with Georgie’s pet relocation from Australia to the United Kingdom. She says, “I got a great feeling from the team, right from the beginning when I was going through the quotes process.” Georgie reached her new home in London in great spirits and is happily exploring the new space.
Thank you, Laura, for choosing Petraveller to fly your precious cargo.
