Petraveller relocated handsome Springer Spaniel Jasper from Hobart to London. Here’s proud mum Philippa talking about her pet and why she partnered with Petraveller for the international move.

Jasper became a part of Philippa’s family when he was a puppy of seven weeks. He has lived with Philippa and her family of two daughters and their two cats. 

Philippa speaks affectionately about her pet. She says, “Jasper is very loyal. He is not massively social with other dogs but does have some excellent dog friends. He is quite territorial about his home and his family. Jasper is a Springer Spaniel, so everything is about smells for him.”

She continues, “He is very clever and can do quite a few tricks. He loves to chase seagulls at the beach and prefers cold, wet weather to hot weather.”

Philippa had moved back to the UK for six months with her younger daughter. While she was away, her older daughter stayed at home in Hobart and looked after Jasper and their two cats. Philippa says, “Due to COVID-19 our return flight has been cancelled, so I have made the decision to stay here indefinitely. But I cannot do that without having Jasper with me. I have missed him desperately and can’t wait to have him here with me.”

Relocating a pet during the COVID-19 pandemic can be quite stressful because of all the uncertainties around flight availabilities and travel restrictions. Therefore, Philippa decided to use an accredited pet transport agency to help her relocate her furry boy safely to London. Philippa says, “I contacted a few companies and asked for several quotes. Only two companies got back to me saying that they were still operating at the moment. Petraveller was slightly more expensive than the other company, but was more professional.”

We are happy to say that despite the challenge during these trying times, Jasper was safely transported from Hobart to London by Petraveller.
