Luna and Jenna

“Luna is a social butterfly.”

British Bulldog Luna became a part of Jenna’s family in June 2020. Jenna shares, “We had been looking for a British Bulldog breeder for a long time and stumbled across a local breeder with a great reputation in Melbourne on Facebook. Surprisingly, she was expecting a litter soon after we introduced ourselves. After a good round of quizzing by the breeder (due to the health needs of a Bulldog), we were approved and got Luna just before all the Covid lockdowns. Luna was the big bruiser of the litter; fearless and can still quite happily give her brothers a run for their money now as she’s a big gal!”

Jenna talks about her pet’s interesting personality. She says affectionately, “Luna has an amazing disposition. She clearly didn’t get the “Bulldogs are lazy” memo and is a constant bundle of energy. Even after a play session with her friends at the park, she’s raring to go! Luna loves saying hi to everyone and enjoys being around people and other dogs. She is a social butterfly. Luna is the boss at doggy day care; she happily welcomes all the newbies and shows them the ropes.”

Jenna was relocating to Los Angeles. She says, “We are relocating to Boston via Los Angeles for work. In terms of leaving Luna behind, it was never an option. Covid certainly put a spanner in the works, as with Qantas not flying, we could not get Luna to the United States for a long time, but we were never leaving without her.”

Jenna contacted Petraveller to organise her pet’s international move from Melbourne to Los Angeles based on a friend’s recommendation. She says, “Back in 2019, Petraveller relocated our close friend’s British Bulldog, Pudge, back to Chicago via Dallas. With the feedback and recommendation from Pudge’s parents, we never considered going with anyone else.”
