“Leaving our pets behind was never an option.”
Amy and her gorgeous pets, Luna and Maggie, moved from Melbourne to London with Petraveller. Amy talked to us about her pets and shared her experience with Petraveller.
Amy adopted Luna when she was eight weeks old from a certified Burmese breeder in 2008. Luna is a curious, playful and loving pet who loves being stroked under her chin and cuddled. Amy says fondly, “She follows us everywhere and comes when we call her name. She loves being snuggled up in bed and laying in the sun. She has a beautiful, loving personality and loves sitting on your lap.”
Amy was concerned about Luna’s pet travel because of Luna’s digestive issues. She says, “Luna has a sensitive stomach as she had an intussusception when she was young. She needs to eat soft food in the morning before eating dry food.”
Amy’s Australian Kelpie Maggie was flown from Orange when she was about eight weeks old in 2009. Amy recalls, “She was frightened when she arrived but soon warmed up and started playing with the kids in no time.”
Maggie loves her walks and enjoys playing with sticks and balls. Amy says, “She loves being in the countryside or at the beach. She doesn’t like city noises as it makes her nervous. She is a happy dog and gets very excited to see you even if you were out of her sight for ten minutes.” Maggie is an extremely obedient, well behaved and a very intelligent dog. “She comes and sits when she is instructed and likes people more than other dogs. She doesn’t like people getting to close to her face but loves a tummy rub and other forms of affection,” says Amy. ”
Amy and her family were relocating to London for work, and leaving their pets behind was never an option. She reached out to Petraveller to assist her with the pet relocation on the recommendation of the relocation company.
Luna and Maggie made their journey effortlessly and are now enjoying their new home in London, UK. Thank you, Amy, for trusting Petraveller to fly your precious fur babies. Here’s to more new and exciting adventures in London!
