Mavis, Monte and Narelle

We had the pleasure of relocating two adorably cute Chihuahuas from Australia to the land of The Lion City. Pet mom Narelle talks about her pets and the pet travel experience to Singapore.

Mavis and Monte joined the Shen family about a month ago. Like most puppies, they are friendly and love human contact and affection. They haven’t socialised with other dogs yet as they were scheduled to have their last vaccination soon. Narelle says fondly, “They are charming and get excited to see people. They love to play and are both clingy.”

Monte and Mavis are very playful. They have zoomies and make noises when they run around. Narelle says, “Mavis is much more confident than Monte when it comes to new things. She loves playing with door stoppers. However, she does tend to get car sick, so after her pet travel, we give her some water.” Narelle continues, “Monte is a little timid, but once he gains confidence or familiarity he’ll start being just as playful.” They’re both extremely friendly and get excited to see humans. 

Narelle was returning home to Singapore as most of her family live there and leaving her pets behind was not an option.

Narelle got in touch with Petraveller to handle her pets’ international pet relocation. She had previously used Petraveller to relocate her other dog. Talking about that experience she says, “When I was anxiously worried, Petraveller kept me updated every few hours and reassured me with photos and videos of my pet. I love how they gave updates before and after the flight. It gave me a sense of relief to know that my pet was safe.”
