Max and Jose

“Max is a smart dog.”

Adorable Poodle Max travelled from Sydney to Hanoi with Petraveller. Pet dad Jose talks about his smart pet and why he partnered with Petraveller for Max’s international pet relocation to Vietnam.

Max came in Jose’s life eight years ago. Jose shares, “I met Max when I started going out with my then girlfriend Diep, who is now my wife. I’ve known Max for eight years, and we grew close when Diep moved to Vietnam to pursue her career during Covid.”

Max is a smart, energetic dog who loves running around in the yard. Jose says, “I’ve trained Max in several commands during his later years, which is quite interesting seeing that not many dogs can learn new things! Max is a bit of a clean dog, he does not like to lie down on the ground if he is not tired. This is evident when we walked him to the cafe, and he did not sit on the floor, but as soon I picked him up to sit in a chair, he sat down!”

Max was travelling to Hanoi, Vietnam, to be with his mum Diep. Jose says, “My wife’s career is going very well in Vietnam. She really misses Max and is unable to visit Australia frequently. So, we decided it was better for Max to reunite with her. In the long term, I will eventually move to Vietnam to join her.”

Jose was certain that he needed an experienced pet travel company to help relocate Max from Sydney to Hanoi. He says, “The other companies were unable to deliver Max specifically to Hanoi.” Jose then got in touch with Petraveller for Max’s relocation to Vietnam.
