“Maxi is very friendly with people.”
Adorable Staffordshire Terrier Maxi travelled from Sydney to Vienna with Petraveller. Johannes talks about Maxi and why he chose Petraveller for the international pet relocation.
Maxi is a rescue dog who belongs to Johannes’s mother. He says, “Maxi was rescued by my mother, Gertraud Harlos, who moved back to Austria early in 2020. She has had her for a little over two years and Maxi was about eleven months old when my mother got her.” He recalls, “My mother had a similar dog before, who died at 15 1/2 years of age in 2018.”
Talking about Maxi’s personality, Johannes says, “She is very friendly with people and ignores most dogs. However, she can be aggressive to small dogs.”
After living in Sydney for 36 years, Johannes was moving back to his home town in Vienna, Austria. He says, “I was meant to travel in April 2020 to deliver the dog. However, due to COVID, the flights were cancelled, and we have been stuck in Sydney ever since.”
The COVID-19 pandemic has made international pet relocation more complicated and time-consuming because of the reduced flight capacities and other uncertainties. Hence, Johannes decided to seek help from a professional pet transport company to manage Maxi’s journey to be relieved from the complex process. Johannes says, “I had originally booked another company for Maxi’s relocation. I chose to go with Petraveller on the recommendation of a friend at the logistics company.”
Maxi had a pleasant and stress-free flight to Vienna and is happy to be reunited with her pet mum. Thank you, Johannes, for trusting Petraveller with adorable Maxi. Good luck on the move and big hugs to dear Maxi!
