Moose and Jusmine

“Moose is a funny, happy little mister!”

Jusmine and her charming Border Terrier Moose travelled from Melbourne to Los Angeles with Petraveller. Here’s proud mum Jusmine talking about her adorable dog and why she hired Petraveller for his international pet relocation to Los Angeles.

Jusmine brought Moose home about two years ago from a family in Ballarat who had an accidental litter. Jusmine says, “We wanted to make sure we got a puppy, and he could acclimatise to travel from an early age as we always knew we would need to relocate either to New Zealand or the United States.”

Jusmine talks about her pet’s attractive personality traits. She says, “Moose is a funny, happy little mister! He loves people and dogs. He’s a snuggler, but on his terms. Moose doesn’t mind being handled at all and is great with strangers. He’s got a voice on him and will whine or bark when he wants to communicate something. He’ll be pretty whiney in his crate on the move day.”

Jusmine continues, “Moose can be a little nervous at times, especially in the car. He hasn’t quite grown out of his motion sickness/car sickness. We’ve tried medications from the vet, and it seems to be more behavioural than anything. We’re working on desensitising him to car rides, and the crate etc.”

Jusmine was relocating to Los Angeles, US, with her buddy Moose. She says, “Moving was always on the cards at some stage, and we always knew we’d take Moose with us. Covid threw a spanner and sped up the process by about a year!”

Jusmine decided to use the services of an international pet transport company to relocate her family dog Moose to Los Angeles. She began looking into pet travel companies in Australia before zeroing in on Petraveller. Jusmine says, “I got quotes from a few pet transport companies at first. I got a bit further with one pet relocation company but was let down by their customer service and lack of follow up.” She then contacted Petraveller to organise her pet’s relocation to Los Angeles. Jusmine says, “Petraveller has been stellar and amazing.”
