Jack Russell Terrier Obi got a new lease of life when Alyssa adopted him from the RSPCA. Alyssa chats about Obi and why she partnered with Petraveller for his international travel from Adelaide to Singapore.

Obi got a new home when Alyssa adopted him from the RSPCA in 2018, and he’s been the centre of the family ever since. Obi is a very active and loving Jack Russell Cross. Pet mum Alyssa speaks fondly about her pet. She says, “Obi loves running, walking and playing fetch. He needs a lot of exercise. Obi loves people and wants to be with you constantly, sitting on your lap and following you wherever you go.” Alyssa smiles and adds, “Obi craves attention and is very much praise and toy-orientated rather than food.”

Alyssa was relocating to Singapore for work. “Initially, we had decided Obi would stay with my parents as we were worried about potential transport risks, but we can’t imagine life without him. So, after consulting many people, we finally felt comfortable booking him in,” says Alyssa. 

Transporting a pet from one country to another is not always simple. Therefore, Alyssa decided to take help from professional pet transporters who relocate pets worldwide. She started her hunt for the right pet travel company and reached out to a few pet transport companies in Australia before going ahead with Petraveller.
