Handsome Labrador Retriever Oscar is a twelve-year-old foster fail, relishing his twilight years. Dianne chuckles and says, “Being in his twilight years, Oscar does his own thing most of the time.” However, Oscar’s age has brought some changes. Dianne says, “Oscar has become reactive on the lead and barks at most things, potentially due to his diminishing sight. Nevertheless, he still enjoys his walks, food, and the pleasures of head and belly scratches.”

Denzel, on the other hand, was surrendered to a rescue organisation. Dianne says, “We were Denzel’s foster carers, so he is also a foster fail! Denzel is a lively three-year-old doggo who is friendly and energetic but also carries the weight of anxiety. Separation anxiety and a dislike for loud noises are among his challenges.”

Dianne and her family were relocating to Wellington to be closer to their family, and staying separated from their beloved pets was never an option. She says, “Not taking our beloved pets was never a consideration.”
