Patchy and Glen

Glen travelled with his gorgeous Rhodesian Ridgeback x Bull Arab Patchy from Sydney to Stockholm with Petraveller. He shares details about Patchy’s lovable personality and why he partnered with Petraveller for Patchy’s international journey.

Glen welcomed Patchy into his home and made her a part of his family. He found Patchy on the RSPCA website and drove to Gunnedah to collect her. Glen shares, “My two kids (aged 8 and 10) have wanted a dog for several years, but the time wasn’t right. The COVID-19 pandemic and working from home changed that.” Patchy was five weeks old from a litter of nine. Her mum is Rhodesian Ridgeback, and her dad a Bull Arab. 

Glen describes Patchy as a very friendly dog. Glen says fondly, “Patchy loves to jump up for cuddles and kisses. She is good at fetching and loves tug of war. Like most dogs, Patchy loves tummy rubs. However, Patchy is scared of thunder, and hates the water and doesn’t like the beach.”

Glen and his family were relocating to Stockholm, Sweden. He says, “My wife has a new job in Älmhult, Sweden.” As the Langford family dearly adored their pet, it was clear that Patchy would relocate to Sweden with them.

Relocating a pet abroad can be extremely overwhelming, as the process is time-consuming and complex. Glen decided to engage the services of a reputed international pet travel company to help him relocate his pet dog Patchy to Sweden.
