Penguin and Winny

“Petraveller was friendly and very informative.”

Petraveller relocated handsome Toy Poodle x Papillon Penguin from Sydney to Singapore. Pet parent Winny talks about Penguin’s habits and shares her experience of using Petraveller.

Penguin became a part of the Tang family in December 2019 when he was just a nine-week-old puppy. Winny says, “He lived with my boyfriend and me for seven months before we relocated for work to Singapore.”

Penguin is a super friendly dog who likes all humans and dogs, no matter the size. Winny laughs and says, “He is also very hyperactive and excitable, often jumping up and down or occasionally peeing a little when he sees his favourite people. He has a lot of energy so it would be good to tire him out before the flight.”

She adds, “He can also be a little naughty. He likes to chew wooden objects, and despite being toilet trained will still pee around the house.”

Winny and her partner relocated to Singapore for work reasons and plan on staying in Singapore for the long term. It was a difficult decision for them to leave Penguin for seven months with a friend’s family in Sydney. She says, “We are looking forward to being reunited. He has never been crate trained, and our friend’s family will be doing their best to familiarise him with the crate before his flight. I am concerned he will not adjust to the crate and attempt to scratch his way out.”

Winny decided to take the assistance of an accredited pet transport company to help her relocate her pet from Sydney to Singapore. Like most pet parents, Winny was concerned about her pet’s wellbeing and she wanted Penguin to have a stress-free flight. Winny chose Petraveller to help with her pet’s journey.
