Rufus and Henry

Henry and his buddy Rufus recently relocated from Sydney to Manchester with Petraveller. Henry talks about his pet and tells us why he chose Petraveller’s services.

The Biggs family had been talking about getting a dog for ages. Henry says, “I used to scan ads for litters of Golden Retrievers. When we saw the ad for Rufus, we decided we just had to do it. A fourteen-hour round trip to Albury later, where he slept the whole way, Rufus was our best decision ever.”

Rufus is a total bundle of joy. Henry says, “He is very affectionate, always sitting at our feet or next to us on the couch. He is enormous, but thankfully quite relaxed around the house. He goes out two or three times a day for lead walks and to the local dog park to stretch his legs. Rufus loves playing with other dogs, swimming, and chasing his rugby ball or frisbee.”

After living in Australia for some years, Henry and his partner decided to move back home to Manchester to try life over there. When it came to his pet’s relocation, leaving Rufus behind was never an option. Henry did some research on some pet travel companies and decided to go with Petraveller. He says, “I compared the quotes and the good reviews before deciding on Petraveller.”

Rufus made his journey from Sydney to Manchester in good health and is now happily settling down in his new home. Henry is more than happy with the Petraveller experience. The pictures and videos of Rufus helped us feel at ease with sending him on such a long journey as he looked happy and relaxed throughout. He was clean, happy and relaxed when we met him at the other end.”
