“Petraveller came up trumps in the level of care, reviews and communication.”
Petraveller helped pet parent Julie relocate her handsome Dachshund Scraps from Brisbane to Christchurch. Julie talks about her pet’s loving nature and why she partnered with Petraveller for his international pet travel to Christchurch.
Scraps joined the Waller family through Paw Prints Rescue in 2019 when he was nine months old. Julie says, “Scraps is the boss of Lamb Island and has a number of families taking care of him until he reunites with us.”
Julie goes on to share her pet’s Personality. She says, “Scraps is an amazing little man and is extremely sensitive to his surroundings. He is very needy of affection and companionship. Scraps has two day-care families sharing day duty during the week while we are working; they both have dogs. He enjoys playing with other dogs and cuddling up with people when it’s rest time. He has no ability to know when enough is enough when it comes to food, so has to be monitored with quantities.”
The Waller family were relocating to Christchurch. Julie says, “We were given an amazing employment opportunity in our home country and felt ready to return. It certainly was not an option without our little man joining us on this adventure, as the place we will be living will be wonderful for him. There is another small dog residing at the property, and we will be caring for him, so he’ll be a great companion for Scraps.”
Julie was nervous about Scraps’ pet travel to New Zealand. She says, “Scraps gets quite anxious on flights.” Therefore, Julie decided to engage the services of an international pet relocation agency to organise Scraps’ journey to Christchurch since she wanted Scraps to have a safe and stress-free pet travel experience.
Julie started her search for a trustworthy and experienced pet transport company and received several quotes. Julie chose to partner with Petraveller for Scraps’ international relocation from Brisbane to Christchurch. She says, “Petraveller came up trumps in the level of care, reviews and communication, which was very important to us.”
Scraps was a very well-behaved passenger and made his journey with great ease. He is happily reunited with his family and is now busy exploring the new outdoors of New Zealand. Thank you, Julie, for trusting Petraveller with Scraps’ international journey. We wish you a great life ahead filled with lots of fun and laughter with your dear Scraps.
