Sophie, Bailey and Araceli

Araceli travelled with her adorable Miniature Schnauzers Sophie and Bailey from Alice Springs to Los Angeles with Petraveller. Araceli talks about her pets and why she partnered with Petraveller for their international pet relocation.

Sophie and Bailey are sisters that were born in Texas. Bailey is the baby, and Sophie is the older sister, always taking care of her and watching what is going on. Araceli shares, “Sophie and Bailey have travelled with us all over the world, reaching Australia.”

Speaking about Sophie, Araceli smiles and says, “Sophie is a bit of a chatterbox. When she knows a treat is coming, she spins in excitement to get it. She likes to cuddle by my feet and always looks for what is going on around us.” Araceli adds, “Sophie had a dry eye condition and she had to have a surgery to transplant her salivary duct to her eye. Her eyesight is very poor and is missing many teeth, but overall, she is in good health.”

Bailey, on the other hand, is super sweet. Araceli says, “Bailey always wants to be close to me, looking at what I’m doing. Both Sophie and Bailey are lovely girls, always nearby. They chase birds out of our yard and don’t do so well with other pets around.”

Araceli was relocating to Texas for work. Leaving her four-legged family members behind was unthinkable for Araceli. 

Araceli realised that moving two pets internationally was not going to be an easy task and decided to hand over the relocation to pet transport professionals. Araceli reached out to Petraveller to manage Sophie and Bailey’s international move from Alice Springs to Los Angeles. Araceli says, “Petraveller developed a good relationship with me. They had great communication and were very responsive, which made me feel that I could trust my girls with Petraveller.”
