Stephen and Jennifer

“Stephen is my son and will be with me forever.”

Staffordshire Terrier Stephen travelled from Sydney to Los Angeles with Petraveller and made it to his destination in great spirits. Read more to know about Stephen and his international pet relocation story to the city of Los Angeles.

Jennifer rescued Stephen as a puppy and took him home forever. Jennifer says, “Stephen has been through puppy training and is a part of a dog walking group.” 

Jennifer goes on to share her pet’s interesting personality. She says, “Stephen is a sweet pancake who loves attention in the form of back massages and head scratches. He loves playing fetch every day and playing at the dog park.”

Jennifer laughs and adds, “Stephen loves snuggles and chicken treats and will lick you with appreciation until your whole arm is wet. He sleeps at the end of my bed, but when it’s cold or rainy, he sneaks up and snuggles close.” Stephen gets nervous around bigger dogs and does not like being mounted. He snaps at the dogs that do it.

Jennifer was heading back home to Los Angeles, USA. “It was never an option to leave my dog; he is like my son and will be with me forever,” says Jennifer. 

Transporting a pet from one country to another can be stressful, especially if you are in the middle of your own relocation. Jennifer decided to hand over the responsibility of relocating Stephen to an accredited pet transport company to make the process easier.
