Sumo and Molly

Petraveller relocated adorable Pug Sumo from Sydney to Dallas Fort Worth. Sumo’s mum Molly talks about her pet and explains why she chose Petraveller over other pet relocation companies. 

Sumo is a ten-year-old Pug who loves human company and affection. Molly says affectionately, “Sumo is a very friendly dog. He responds well to kind words and a cuddle. He likes to be stroked on his head and back. Sumo is docile and loves food!” Molly adds, “Sumo does not run around as he is getting older but loves his walks. He likes to sniff around everything he comes across. I think this is the Beagle part of him that has an amazing sense of smell. However, Sumo gets anxious when he is alone as he was brought up with a sibling who had to be put to sleep two years ago.” 

Molly was relocating to Dallas Fort Worth. She says, “I became a student in the United States and then married a US citizen. My parents had been looking after my dog, but they are now moving and cannot take him with them. We all agreed that rehousing him at his age would probably mean that he would remain in a dog shelter and ultimately be euthanized, something I could not consider.”

Molly started looking for international pet travel options to move her pet from Australia to Dallas Fort Worth. After researching different companies in Australia, Molly contacted several pet travel companies before deciding to go ahead with Petraveller.
